First time hiring? We’ll help you get started.
How much will my hire cost?
Roof boxes start at £6 per day, bars hired with equipment at £4 per day, bicycle carriers at £3 per day and TentBox hire at £40 per day. Short hires, including one-day hires and same-day returns, are welcome, but the applicable minimum hire charge still applies: four days in June, July, August and December, and three days during the rest of the year. Longer-hire reductions apply to specified additional days.
I don’t have roof bars. Can you help?
Yes, we offer roof bar hire. Give us your car’s make, model, year and roof type so we can check which bars and fitting kit are suitable and available. Most of our systems are Thule, but Thule does not offer a compatible option for every vehicle.
How long does fitting take?
Roof bars and a roof box usually take around 10–30 minutes to fit, depending on the vehicle and fittings. We also allow time to check the installation and explain how to use it safely.
Can you fit equipment I own or replace roof-box locks?
Yes. Customer-owned roof equipment fitting starts from £20. We also offer Thule and Halfords lock-barrel replacement, subject to the product being suitable.
Do I need to send a photo of my car?
Not if you can confirm the details we need. If you’re unsure about your roof type, a photograph can help us identify it.
Where do I collect and return?
Collection and return are arranged by appointment at 7 Edinburgh Drive, Glasgow, G40 4RW. We keep appointment times flexible and confirm the arrangement with you before collection.
Does sending an enquiry confirm my booking?
No. Sending the form submits your enquiry. Your hire is confirmed only after we have checked compatibility and availability and agreed the price and arrangements with you.
